AT HOME IN HOKE COUNTY
Located in the Southeast section of North Carolina, bordering Cumberland, Robeson, Scotland and Moore counties, Hoke County has a population size of approximately 40,000. Its 414 square miles are home to farmers, major industrial concerns and residents who enjoy quality living in communities of quiet, pastoral beauty. Raeford, the county seat, provides area communities with twenty-eight churches from which residents may choose to worship. Six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school make up Hoke County's consolidated school system. Communities are in close proximity to several universities and colleges. Residents of Raeford and Hoke County spend their leisure time enjoying active recreation including golf, equestrian trials, tennis, swimming and skydiving.
