Relocation Fair 2009: “One Team One Future - Focus on the Family”

Initial planning is underway for the fourth annual BRAC Regional Task Force Relocation Fair to be held at Fort McPherson, Ga., home of U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) and U.S Army Reserve Command (USARC) Headquarters. 

Proposed dates are pending approval from FORSCOM and USARC for the September 2009 timeframe.  This year’s event will focus on the needs of families who are considering relocating to the Fort Bragg region.  Plans are to have each of the 11 BRAC counties represented at this year’s event, as in past years.   

Each year, as we arrive closer to FORSCOM and USARC’s final move date, the relocation fairs have become more exciting and informative.  Last year’s fair was considered an overwhelming success, measured by booth attendance, interest, and comments received from those who have already decided to move to North Carolina!  We continue to receive positive feedback from those personnel who attended and people are still talking about the outstanding barbeque provided by Fuller’s, as well as the entertainment provided by the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra’s Brass Quintet.
